The collective of ‘90s streetwear re-emerging from the archives of brands all over the world has taken a special liking to track pants. While track pants are glorified sweatpants, they can be quite elegant, (and expensive).

While Adidas and Nike have been on top of this athleisure staple for years on end now, luxury brands are starting to put their ears to the streets as well. Diversity in Fashion

If you were able to catch any of the Fall 2017 runway shows within the four major fashion capitals (New York, London, Milan and Paris) then you might’ve realized that models were quite diverse compared to past seasons. This is because models actually were diverse this year and I’m not only talking about race. There are three very unique models that I have compiled into one list to share with you all!

Madeline Stuart

First, I’d like to introduce Madeline Stuart. It was in 2015 that Stuart walked in her first New York fashion show as a model with Down syndrome. Of course, Madeline is the beauty that captivated the audience and made headlines worldwide. Two years later, Stuart is still modeling and in February of 2017 introduced her new label “21 Reasons Why by Madeline Stuart”.

Lara and Mara Bawar

Second, I’d like to introduce Lara and Mara Bawar. These two albino eleven-year-old twins are using their unique beauty and taking the fashion industry head on. We first saw these twins debut their matchless pale features in 2016 when Swiss Photographer, Vinicius Terranova, stumbled upon them and asked if he could capture their rare beauty.

Stephen James

Third, I’d like to introduce you to Stephen James. This model turned his body from head to toe into his own personal canvas. Covered in elaborate and artistic designs, his numerous tattoos range from realistic portraits of his icons to religious symbols and idols. James has created an outstanding reputation for himself and has worked for brands such as Calvin Klein and Philipp Plein.

How To Treat Your Hair This Summer

Summer 2017 is finally here! It’s the best time to relax and enjoy the weather – but the scorching heat can do numerous things to your hair. Good thing there are proactive methods to take care of your summer hair!

One method is to shampoo less than normal. Because summer heat and sun exposure cause hair dryness, it is vital to maintaining your natural scalp oil levels. This can avoid the vicious cycle of dryness! Another method is to avoid styling tools with heat. Your hair in the summer is exposed to more heat than you think, so do not overdo it with extra heat! However, if you need to style your hair for a special event or night out, use a leave-in conditioner before you style it. In addition, you may want to schedule regular trims. Since summer heat takes away moisture, leaving your ends dry and frizzy, make sure your schedule trims every 4-6 weeks! And probably the most important to keep in mind is protecting your hair from chlorine. Make sure you wet your hair before you enter the pool, this will protect it from chlorine as much as possible. Immediately rinse your hair and shampoo/condition after your swim!

One of the Internets finest aspects is the way it allows people around the world to share their stories and connect with individuals of all types of backgrounds. Body and mental health advocate, Kate Speer uses Instagram to posts about her life and how she’s overcoming her daily struggles. Recently, Kate posted a video of herself jumping and dancing without limitations in her living room. Kate stated that she was doing #JiggleForJoy and before she knew it, her vivacious video went viral.

“Your midday reminder that YOU – just as you are – are FABULOUS! I’ve been struggling with my beautiful body this week and note, I know I have a thin-privileged, able-privileged, beautiful bod even if I can’t always feel it be so,” Kate wrote at the beginning of her post. She goes on to state that she is “doing the #JiggleForJoy” and “gosh darnit ED, you aren’t going to stop” her.

Kate or Positvely.Kate, as she’s known on Instagram, admits to deleting her #JiggleForJoy video seven times before she felt comfortable permanently leaving the video up for the world to see. Her decision to ultimately keep the Instagram video posted was for the video serve as a positive reminder to all her followers that their bodies are “perfect, whole, and beautiful”.
